Following the great success of our first three conferences—convened by the Institute of Love Studies in 2024, 2025, and 2026—we are glad to announce that planning is underway for our next conference. In response to interest from researchers and practitioners worldwide, the 4th International Conference on Love and Relationship Studies will take place virtually from March 5–7, 2027.
Following the successful model of our previous conferences, this event will be held in an online format featuring pre-recorded presentations followed by live, thematic panel sessions via Zoom. As always, we are committed to building on our traditions while continuously refining and improving our organizational format.

A Note on In-Person Events
Many of our participants have expressed a strong interest in holding a future conference in an in-person format. If your institution is interested in hosting such a physical event at your location, please reach out to us at info@love-studies-institute.org. We will review your proposal and may look to organize it adjacent in time to this 4th virtual conference, or as a separate standalone event at a later date.
