International Institute of Love Studies is the educational and scientific organization incorporated in the State of Michigan, the USA. The Institute serves the world community of scholars interested in the studies of love. The Institute showcases the most recent research on love from around the world.

The Institute of Love Studies is a group of independent researchers, practitioners, research labs, study programs, universities, institutions, and organizations from many countries. These individuals and institutions have a common interest in studying love from numerous disciplines, diverse perspectives, and various methodologies.

We consider love in its different existences, types, modes, and forms, such as personal feelings, emotions, moods, dispositions, actions, values, and varieties of interpersonal relationships. We explore the individual factors and social and cultural conditions that contribute to these diverse varieties of love.

The International Institute of Love Studies functions as a scholarly consortium of independent individuals and institutions, as a network of researchers, practitioners, labs, and programs interested in collaboration.

The Institute provides opportunities for various forms of partnership and cooperation. The mission of the Institute is to connect, share, and exchange.

The Institute promotes international collaboration in scholarly endeavors to explore love and relationships in the variety of their forms, types, contexts, and cultures.

The Institute of Love Studies administers a website with international resources for researchers and the general public worldwide about Love and Relationships across Cultures.

The Institute of Love Studies runs a YouTube channel, “Love Talks: The Video Journal of Love Studies.” The Video Journal is in production and reconstruction, so it is temporarily unavailable.
