The Advisory Board invites proposal submissions for the 4th International Conference on Love and Relationship Studies. We welcome scholars, practitioners, and students across all disciplines to present their studies, share qualitative, quantitative, or theoretical work in plain scholarly English, and engage in meaningful interdisciplinary dialogue.
Submission Categories
To accommodate diverse stages of research and scholarly inquiry, we invite submissions across four presentation categories:
- Systematic Literature Review: A comprehensive synthesis of published research on a specific topic.
- Completed Empirical Study: A new study presenting fully finalized empirical results.
- Work-in-Progress Empirical Study: An ongoing study featuring preliminary findings and theoretical grounding.
- Previously Presented or Published Work: A presentation tailored to share existing research with a broader, interdisciplinary audience, using refreshed framing for our conference community.

The Collaboration Zone for the 4th Conference on Love and Relationship Studies
The Organizing Committee of the 4th International Conference wants to assist prospective participants in finding their niche in the program.
We are pleased to introduce the Collaboration Zone—an interdisciplinary networking initiative hosted for members of the Love and Relationship Research Network designed to help prospective participants assemble panels, find co-authors, or connect with session chairs.
Why Join the Network & Collaboration Zone?
- Form Full Panels: Find 1–2 co-presenters to submit a complete, cohesive session.
- Find Co-Authors: Match with partners working on complementary empirical or theoretical topics.
- Network & Connect: Discover scholars with shared research interests using concise, ~50–100 word pitch profiles.
How to Participate:
- Join the Love and Relationship Research Network: If you are not yet a member, sign up here – Network Signup Link – to gain access to network tools and receive the gated Directory link when it opens.
- Submit Your Pitch (Available Now): Submit your quick project summary via the brief Intake Form Link (takes under 3 minutes). We encourage you to submit your pitch before October 5 to be included in the initial directory launch batch.
- Directory Release (after October 5): On this date, all registered Network members will receive exclusive access to the gated Directory to browse entries and contact prospective collaborators directly.
Timeline & Access Details
- Phase 1 — Pitch Collection (Just Started): Submit your idea early via the Intake Form Link to ensure your proposal is included in the initial directory launch.
- Phase 2 — Directory Release (after October 5): Network members receive access to browse pitches and initiate outreach.
- Continuous Intake (Through Final Conference Submission Deadline): The Intake Form will remain open continuously until final conference submissions close, with new entries populating live in the directory.
Important Reminder: The Collaboration Zone is an optional tool created solely to facilitate thematic and interdisciplinary networking. You are more than welcome to submit your individual paper or fully formed panel directly through the standard conference portal without using this service.
We hope this Collaboration Zone helps spark new interesting and productive partnerships and thematic panel sessions for the upcoming 4th Conference on Love and Relationship Studies!
